Questions people ask

Where should I start if I am completely new?
How to start a practice, then moon phases. The first tells you what a practice actually is once the aesthetics are stripped out, and the second gives you the only calendar you need to keep one. Everything else here reads more easily after those two.
Do I need anything to follow these?
No candles, no cards, no purchases. Every ritual on these pages can be done with what is already in your kitchen and ten minutes of quiet. Objects can deepen a practice but they have never been what makes one work.
Is any of this religious?
No. These guides treat ritual as attention paid on purpose — a way of marking time and noticing what you want. They ask nothing of your beliefs and sit comfortably alongside any of them, or none.
